Best time to visit

June–August for archipelago magic; winter for candlelit city calm

Midsummer through August brings long evenings and island ferries at their best. May and September are quieter. November–March is dark, atmospheric, and excellent for design hotels and northern lights add-ons toward Swedish Lapland.
